Launched in 2016, the Exvangelical podcast has shared stories about people who have left white evangelicalism. Since then, #exvangelical has taken on a life of its own as people have connected online and find ways to express and validate their experiences.
Exvangelical is not a wholesale replacement of evangelicalism. Instead, we acknowledge our shared past and celebrate the new growth we find. This is best depicted in the new logo, designed by Jenna Luecke in 2020.
